Our Yoga Teacher

Siobhan’s yoga path began at the age of 16 when she took her first classes. Always experiencing the benefits from practicing but not knowing much about the why, over time a strong urge for a deeper understanding evolved. Following her medical studies, she learned all about the human body, yet was always missing an essential part – the acknowledgement that we consist of more than just our physical parts. And that in order to find truth we need to allow ourselves to go yet beyond what we can grasp with our five senses. In search for answers, Siobhan began a journey of exploration and discovered that in any country and in any tribe, in any religion and philosophy similar ideas seem to be transmitted. Studying in Nepal she felt that the philosophy of yoga collects this wisdom in a practical and consequent way. She decided to not only ‘do’ yoga but ‘live’ yoga. She did her Jivamukti Teacher Training in 2022 in Italy and has been teaching her own classes since then.
While dynamic and intuitive, Siobhan’s classes focus on creating a comfortable space for every student to perceive individual needs. Finding back to the self-offers the soul a chance to grow. At the same time, her goal is to embed an invitation to refocus on what yoga really means – the letting go of the ego in order to advance the idea of the oneness of all being.
For our festival, she has created a semi-dynamic class that will invite our bodies and minds to restore while at the same time tune us into the autumn season by withdrawing our focus from the outer happenings and re-directing our attention to meditation and our inner selves.
